As treasurer, I organise the budget of the JCR and the reps, keeping track of all our expenses, and work with college to make sure everyone is reimbursed as soon as possible.

My role as Vice president is to bring the needs of the student body to the attention of the senior censors and governing body. I chair all the general meetings of the JCR in which everyone can propose and vote on motions they want the college to support. I am also there to assist the president and to be your first port of call with any issues or requests! Please reach out as I am always keen to help!

My job is to take a summary record, or minutes, of all JCR meetings. I then distribute a record of those every week. I am always happy to speak to students in a welfare capacity as well!

My job is to be a point of contact between the JCR and college for all things food and hall related. I attend weekly catering meetings with the chefs, organise special dinners (Guest Dinners, Oxmas), and raise any complaints you have to college. Expect a weekly email from me with the menu and food related updates.

I’m here to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds on their journey to university, especially those who come from state schools in under-represented areas and those who are first-generation uni students in their families/communities. Olivia and I work with the college to organise events which help pupils decide if Oxford is for them and develop their academic skills. Our goal is to make Christ Church a more diverse and equal place which is welcoming to everyone!

Alexander Demby

Peer supporters are student members of the welfare team who have undertaken training from the University Counselling Service in active listening and signposting. I coordinate peer support welfare provision in college.
Angelina Bicker

My role is there to ensure that students who have experienced any form of gender prejudice have someone to voice their problems to. I also strive to ensure the practice of gender equality in college, and also to provide resources- such as free sanitary products- to those who need it.

My role with Lucas is to help make Christ Church more diverse and accessible for everyone, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds who might not initially consider Oxford. We help the college organise events for prospective students, like tours and Q&As, to demystify life here and the application process.
