Charities

Part of the JCR budget goes towards charities. More information about charities donated to in the past can be found on the financial information page on the intranet.

JCR members can submit proposals for charities to donate to, subject to restrictions. These are then voted for in the second GM of the term. The top 2 get 35% of the charities budget each. The remaining 30% is distributed among some of the charities proposed but not chosen in the vote, as decided in the week 8 committee meeting.
